Three Keywords. One Strong Brand.

One of the most underrated “secrets” I discovered during my own job search wasn’t about resumes, interview prep, or networking…

It was about clarity.

Early on, I realized something: if I couldn’t describe who I was and what I brought to the table in a simple, memorable way — how could anyone else?

So I forced myself to do something that felt uncomfortable at first:

I sat down and asked…

  • What patterns show up in my career?

  • How do I naturally behave when I’m working at my best?

  • What strengths do people consistently come to me for?

  • What kind of impact do I tend to create?

 

After a lot of reflection, I boiled everything down into three words that captured my identity and value:

Builder
Evangelist
Coach

 

And here’s the part most people skip…

I didn’t just think those words were cool. I used them intentionally.

I put them on my resume.
I incorporated them into my cover letter.
I placed them in my LinkedIn headline.

 

Then, I used them in interviews as a framework.

Instead of rambling through vague “strengths” like hard-working or team player, I could confidently say:

“I’m a builder because I love creating systems and solutions from scratch.”
“I’m an evangelist because I naturally rally people around ideas and vision.”
“I’m a coach because I’m at my best when I’m developing others and helping teams grow.”

 

That one shift changed everything.

Because suddenly, recruiters and hiring managers didn’t just hear what I’d done…
They understood who I was, how I worked, and the kind of value I would bring into their organization.

 

And the truth is:
If you can communicate your strengths with clarity and creativity, people assume you’ll bring that same energy into their business.
